The End-of-Line Battery Test Machine is designed for an End-of Line (high rate discharge) test of batteries after the formation in the finishing area. The individual batteries supplied through the conveyor of the test machine are positioned exactly. The test stroke is lowered onto the battery terminals. By our integrated electrical measuring system batteries will be controlled and tested. Therefore, the unit is provided with two control units for each end terminal, positive and negative.

It runs an automatic high rate discharge (HRD) test on automotive car and truck batteries after formation in the finishing area. It measures OCV, CCV and deltaV with integrated CMWTEC CHL500 E-Load modules from 500 A up to 3000 A and is controlled by the EOL control software. The test stroke is lowered onto the battery terminals, and test clamps shaped like the terminals grip the positive and the negative terminal. The clamps are opened and closed pneumatically. Individual clamping tools are available for DIN, JIS, flat and front terminals.
It tests automotive car and truck batteries from 20 to 70 kg at up to 8 batteries per minute, depending on test time. Battery heights are adjusted by a vertical servo motor. Batteries that fail the test are rejected onto a table at the end of the machine.
Yes. It can be adapted to a High Voltage or Air Leak test machine as a combination unit. Change-over times are short, and a fully automatic change-over is available as an option.
