A high rate discharge test (HRD) checks the power delivery capability of a lead-acid battery by applying a high current load and measuring whether the battery maintains its voltage within defined limits. The test is performed after the formation phase in the battery finishing area. It identifies batteries that fail under load before they leave the production line.
The Premium Line machine contacts the terminals with individual clamping tools, for example for DIN, JIS and FLAT terminals. The test stroke is lowered onto the battery terminals, and change-over times are short.
Yes. It can be combined with a leak test machine as a combination unit, for example with the High Voltage Leakage Test machine.
