This Battery GEL Filling Machine was designed and developed for the purpose of filling industrial batteries with sulphuric GEL supported by vacuum. The volume of GEL to be filled in is dosed by a precise flow meter. The GEL is supplied to the individual filling heads through the distribution system. The filling heads can be adjusted according to the distance of the battery cover holes. The filling unit contents filling heads with integrated flow meter. Whenever the pre-selected volume is reaching the valve is immediately closing the supply unit prevent a dripping after filling.

It fills industrial batteries and traction cells with sulphuric GEL, supported by vacuum. For mixing the GEL, it can be combined with a mixing plant as a turn-key solution.
The filling unit has 3 filling heads, each connected to its own flow meter. When the pre-selected volume is reached, the valve closes the supply unit immediately, so no GEL drips after filling.
The filling level is accurate to ±1% of the volume. Each head fills up to 25 litres per minute, depending on battery size, group compression and filling hole diameter.
The filling heads can be adjusted to the distance of the battery cover holes, and the filling unit can be mounted on a manipulator system as an option. A vacuum pump creates the vacuum at the filling nozzles, and the machine connects to the GEL supply system of the factory.
