The High Rate Discharge Battery Testing Machine is designed for high rate discharge test of batteries after the formation in the finishing area. The individual batteries supplied through the conveyor of the test machine are positioned exactly. The test stroke is lowered onto the battery terminals. By especially electrical measuring system (which is placed at disposal of the customer) batteries will be controlled. Therefore, the unit is provided with two control units for each end terminal, positive and negative.

A High Rate Discharge Test (HRD) machine tests lead-acid batteries for their ability to deliver high current under load after the formation phase. Individual batteries are conveyed into the machine, precisely positioned and contacted by the test stroke, and an electrical measuring system tests them. Batteries that fail the test are rejected onto a separate table at the end of the machine. The ECO Line machine combines an automated test process with semi-automated handling.
Both test batteries after formation by lowering a test stroke onto the battery terminals, and both can be combined with a leak test machine. The Premium Line machine contacts the terminals with individual clamping tools and runs a fully automatic test process. The ECO Line machine contacts the terminals with a push system and is adjusted by toggle bolts.
It tests automotive car and truck batteries from 20 to 70 kg at up to 8 batteries per minute, depending on test time. OCV, CCV and deltaV testing is available as an option with an individual test device. The machine can be combined with a leak test machine as a combination unit, for example with the ECO Line High Voltage Leakage Test machine.
