It dumps the acid from automotive car and truck batteries after two-shot formation. A 180° rotation unit turns the batteries upside down, and the acid is collected in a vessel built into the base frame.
An infeed unit separates the batteries and forwards them into the dumping unit, where a motorised clamping mechanism fixes them and protects them from scratches. All batteries are clamped with the same force regardless of tolerances in battery width. Batteries can enter and exit while the acid is dumped underneath into the vessel, which increases the output rate and shortens the machine length.
The dumping time can be selected via the PLC-controlled rotation, and as an option, dumping and shaking can be selected. The batteries in the dumping unit are adjusted automatically and do not have to be set manually. The machine has no change-over time.
It handles automotive car and truck batteries from 20 to 70 kg at up to 12 batteries per minute, depending on size and volume. How many batteries the dumping unit holds at once depends on battery size.
