The High Speed Plug Insertion Battery Finishing Machine has been designed for a high speed finishing line following the battery container formation. The batteries filled with sulphuric acid are sealed with six heads simultaneously by means of single plugs with an electronic servo motor. Plugs will be screwed in with torque control and finally checked if plugs missing in a separate plug height control test station.

It is designed for a high speed finishing line after battery container formation. Six servomotor-controlled units seal the batteries filled with sulphuric acid simultaneously with single plugs, and the plugs are screwed in with adjustable torque.
It reaches 10+ batteries per minute, depending on battery size, with a machine length of 3,000 mm. It is designed for automotive car batteries from 20 to 40 kg.
The plugs are stored in two funnels, which release a set quantity into the vibration sorters. A separate plug height control station checks every screwed plug with a tolerance of ±0.1 mm and detects missing plugs as well as plugs that sit too high or too low. Failed batteries are rejected onto a table that holds up to 3 batteries.
The high speed machine works with 6 servomotor-controlled units and is designed for automotive car batteries from 20 to 40 kg at 10+ batteries per minute. The Single Screw Plug Insertion machine handles car and truck batteries from 20 to 70 kg at up to 7 batteries per minute.
