The OCV Battery Test Machine is designed to be used for OCV test of batteries after the formation in the finishing area. The individual batteries supplied through the conveyor of the test machine are positioned exactly. The test stroke is lowered onto the battery terminals. By especially electrical measuring system batteries will be controlled. Therefore, the unit is provided with two control units for each end terminal, positive and negative.

It runs an automatic OCV test of automotive car and truck batteries after formation in the finishing area. OCV stands for open circuit voltage. The test stroke is lowered onto the battery terminals, and a special electric measuring system checks each battery with two control units, one for the positive and one for the negative terminal.
The machine uses a soft post contact system. The test pins are moved down softly by a pneumatic cylinder onto the terminals.
It tests automotive car and truck batteries from 20 to 70 kg at up to 8 batteries per minute, depending on test time. Batteries that fail are rejected onto a reject table, and change-over times are short.
