It is designed for a finishing line after the initial AGM acid filler. The batteries filled with sulphuric acid are temporarily sealed with single push-in degassing bottles. Before they go to water bath formation, the machine checks for missing bottles.
It handles automotive DIN AGM car and truck batteries of sizes L0 to L6 (H3 to H9) and of types A, B and C, weighing 20 to 70 kg. No change-over is needed between different battery lengths.
The bottles are stored in a funnel, and a vertical conveyor releases a set quantity into linear feeders that bring them into the correct position. Pre-sorting of the bottles is not necessary. A pneumatic cylinder pushes the bottles into the batteries, and all other functions are servo controlled. As an option, CMWTEC supports the design of the degassing bottles.
A bottle control unit checks every bottle. Bottles that were not pushed in are shown on the panel, and batteries with missing bottles are rejected onto a table at the end of the machine.
