The Washing and Drying Battery Machine is designed for optimal cleaning and drying of automotive batteries from sulphuric acid. The transport through the individual wash zones is effected straight on two continuous special ¾” stainless-steel roller-chains for a safe transport of the batteries. A lateral guide will keep the batteries in the centre of the machine and is parallel adjustable for different battery width. Maximum the top air blade for the blower height needs to be adjusted from outside.

It cleans sulphuric acid from automotive car and truck batteries and dries them before they go on to the finishing line. The batteries pass through a pre-wash zone, a spray wash zone, a final rinse zone and a blow drying zone.
In the pre-wash and spray wash zones, wash arms with swivelling jet nozzles spread the wash water over the whole battery surface, including corners. A dosing pump adds the detergent and is monitored by a pH control system. In the final rinse zone, flat jet nozzles spray fresh water, heated by a separate boiler, through the battery from all sides, and a wetting agent is injected to improve drying.
In the blow drying zone, blowers dry the batteries with hot air from the heating register. The height of the top air blade is adjusted from outside the machine. An open roller chain conveyor improves washing and drying of the battery bottom.
It handles automotive car and truck batteries from 20 to 70 kg at up to 8 batteries per minute, depending on conveyor speed. Two continuous ¾” stainless steel roller chains carry the batteries, and a lateral guide keeps them in the centre and adjusts in parallel to the battery width.
